This book examined the link between Turkish EFL students' beliefs about language learning (BALL) and their foreign language anxiety (FLA) levels in STEM education. It found a weak positive correlation between FLA and BALL. The study bridges a gap in the literature and provides useful insights for language learning and teaching, as well as for future research. It may help STEM students identify the sources of their anxiety and develop coping strategies. Language teachers can also use this information to create a student-centered learning environment that addresses their beliefs and anxieties, leading to more effective learning and higher student success.
